To determine the handing of the door, stand outside of the room - bedroom, closet, etc. - and determine where the hinges are on the door jamb.  Are they on the right or the left?  Does the door swing inside the room or swing out toward you.  The diagram above will help you to select the correct handing choice before ordering.
